Caddo Magnet High’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a volunteer parent-led organization with a mission to advocate for our students’ academic success and well-being, to model the core values of the school and community, and to enhance our students’ education by building partnerships between families, educators, and community.
OUR WORK
The CMHS PTSA Membership:
- Volunteers for school programs
- Assists with recruiting the best and brightest students
- Celebrates performing and visual arts programs
- Cheers on our academic and sports teams
- Recognizes student academic accomplishments
- Advocates for Magnet’s needs to the CPSB, governing representatives and the community-at-large
- Supports the safety and well-being of students, teachers and staff
- Organizes inclusive community building activities for our students and families
Examples of CMHS programs we support: Spirit Items, Art Contests, Homecoming Ride and Dine for Freshman/Sophomores, New Parent Meet & Greets, Awards Receptions, Open House Receptions, Boost Buggy Fridays, Professional Development Breakfasts, Teacher Appreciation, Holiday Luncheon, and Senior Breakfast.
JOIN US
Our ability to execute our mission is dependent on your support and participation. Please join the PTSA and consider making a donation to support programs. Students, parents, grandparents, and faculty are encouraged to join. Membership dues are $10 per person. Memberships can be paid online by CLICKING HERE. Memberships are annual and should be renewed each year.
MAGNET PRIDE
PTSA sells spirit items such as: yard signs, t-shirts, stickers and hoodies. Items can be purchased throughout the year at events and anytime by contacting the Spirit Items Chairperson.
THE MUSTANG FUND
This is money raised, separate from PTSA membership dues for PTSA programs, to support CMHS needs and long-term investments that enhance the learning environment.
This money is designated for lab equipment, classroom resources, art and music programs, courtyard benches/tables, shade trees, grounds improvements and school projects not provided for in the current budget.

GET INVOLVED
To get involved at Caddo Magnet High School, take a moment to complete the Magnet PTSA Volunteer Form.
We hold monthly meetings August- May. To view the rules that govern us, download Caddo Magnet High PTSA Bylaws. Meetings are generally held in the CMHS Library at 5:30pm and last 1 hour or less. PTSA will publish meetings on the school calendar, social media accounts and school app.
