PTSA of Caddo Magnet High

Caddo Magnet High’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a volunteer parent-led organization with a mission to advocate for our students’ academic success and well-being, to model the core values of the school and community, and to enhance our students’ education by building partnerships between families, educators, and community.

The CMHS PTSA Membership:

  • Volunteers for school programs
  • Assists with recruiting the best and brightest students
  • Celebrates performing and visual arts programs
  • Cheers on our academic and sports teams
  • Recognizes student academic accomplishments
  • Advocates for Magnet’s needs to the CPSB, governing representatives and the community-at-large
  • Supports the safety and well-being of students, teachers and staff
  • Organizes inclusive community building activities for our students and families

Examples of  CMHS programs we support: Spirit Items, Art Contests, Homecoming Ride and Dine for Freshman/Sophomores, New Parent Meet & Greets, Awards Receptions, Open House Receptions, Boost Buggy Fridays, Professional Development Breakfasts, Teacher Appreciation, Holiday Luncheon, and Senior Breakfast.

Our ability to execute our mission is dependent on your support and participation. Please join the PTSA and consider making a donation to support programs. Students, parents, grandparents, and faculty are encouraged to join. Membership dues are $10 per person. Memberships can be paid online by CLICKING HERE. Memberships are annual and should be renewed each year.

PTSA sells spirit items such as: yard signs, t-shirts, stickers and hoodies. Items can be purchased throughout the year at events and anytime by contacting the Spirit Items Chairperson.

This is money raised, separate from PTSA membership dues for PTSA programs, to support CMHS needs and long-term investments that enhance the learning environment.

This money is designated for lab equipment, classroom resources, art and music programs, courtyard benches/tables, shade trees, grounds improvements and school projects not provided for in the current budget.
