Caddo Magnet High School offers parents of students interested in enrolling a guided tour during a regular school day. Tours are led by PTSA volunteers. Participants not only learn about Magnet while touring the facilities, but get to see class changes, a lunch shift, classes being conducted, etc. Many times the tour includes a visit with the principal in which questions may be asked.
As noted by a participating parent regarding the tour’s benefit to their family’s high school decision making process – “There was no big “show” like there is at an Open House, just the teachers and students being real.”
Scheduled tour dates for the 2018-2019 year are pending. All tours start at noon in the front office and last about an hour. Additional tour dates may often be arranged if requested.
