Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society.  This organization is dedicated to inspiring keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject, service, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. At Caddo Magnet High, Mu Alpha Theta members have the opportunity develop teamwork, leadership skills, and compete in tournaments across the state of Louisiana as well as the national competition.   Students will work on competition opportunities during club meetings, and at optional practices offered at various times outside of school hours.  Active members of the club are expected to participate in fundraising, service opportunities, and competitions.
