The CMHS Archery Team is a part of the Louisiana ALAS program, which is a part of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). This program is designed to introduce students to international target style archery. The sport of archery is a great way to get students involved in not only a lifelong sport, but also in their school, and into the outdoors. Nationwide over 10 million students have participated in the NASP program in its first ten years. The Caddo Magnet Archery team has won 7 state championships since the program began in 2008. At CMHS, archery can be taken as a general PE elective class that taught year round, or you can take PE Gymnastics class where it is taught as a lesson.
