The National Merit Scholarship Program is a scholarship competition students enter by taking the PSAT. Around 1.3 million students from over 21,000 schools competed. They will each receive a Letter of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.
For the 2023-2024 school year, (Back Row, Left to Right) Mitchell Peters, Aaron Brister, Alexander Morgan, Rachel Evans, (Front Row, Left to Right) Carsyn Grigsby, Grace Miller, Arisha Sultana, and Eleanor Lokitz were recognized as National Merit Commended Students.
For the 2023-2024 school year, Victoria Todman, TyTiarah Johnson, Anika Alla, and Sebastian Gomelsky were recognized as National Merit Commended Students.
For the 2022-2023 school year, (Back Row, Left to Right) Dillon Ditt, Alexander Bow, Oliver Scott, Thach Chau, (Front Row, Left to Right) Molly Wilson, Chloe Mouton, Ananya Bhatia, and Gabrielle Brown were recognized as National Merit Commended Students.
For the 2021-2022 school year, Sequoia Burton, Jackson Hays, Ali Alqam, Sara Oberle, Graceanne Hodgson, Milena Murov were recognized as National Merit Commended Students.
For the 2020-2021 school year, Quintan Ajluni and Syrena Stewart were recognized as National Merit Commended Students.
For the 2019-2020 school year, Caddo Magnet High School had one student recognized as a National Merit Commended Student.
