Magnet’s Mock Trial teams had an outstanding 2022 season. Over 50 students of all grade levels and experience participated in Mock Trial this year. CMHS fielded seven teams at the regional competition, with Magnet teams Gold and Silver winning first and second place. 

The Gold and Silver teams advanced to State, and for the first time, both Magnet teams went head-to-head in the final round of the Louisiana State Mock Trial Competition! Team Gold prevailed and went on to Nationals. 

At the National Competition, Caddo Magnet High placed 19th. Abigail Nickelson, Autumn Sommers, and Jessica Chu received Star Attorney Awards, and Justina Vo won Star Witness. 

Magnet’s Gold team comprises Jessica Chu, Luke Crittell, William Li, Abigail Nickelson, Autumn Sommers, Justina Vo, and Lily Williams. Shreveport attorneys Sarah Smith and Steve Soileau coached the Gold Team. 

Silver Team was coached by Audrius Reed, and keep swiping to see all of the junior and senior Mock Trial team members and all of the freshmen and sophomore Mock Trial team members!
