Our CMHS Music Department is proud to announce the many students that made it to the LMEA All-State Music Ensembles this year!

CMHS Senior Nat Barker was chosen as the vocalist for the LMEA All-State Jazz Band. Only one student was chosen from the state! She will perform at the All-State Music Festival in January. Way to go Nat!

Ariana Taylor, Madison Lenser, Sarah Jackson, Ashlynn Rice, Syd Rinder, Brianna Jackson, Valerie Gongre, Gabriel McCalmon, Karoline Duffy, Kyung Hyun Cho, and Zoe Alexander were selected for All-State Mixed Choir. And Zoe Alexander and Brianna Jackson were also selected for All-State Treble Choir.

Parker Griffith and Mitchell Peters were selected for All-State Concert Band, and Hava Perez, Parker Hoffman, Graeme Neeley, Max Shen, Noel Strange, Ivy Joseph, and Grace Nida were chosen for All-State Orchestra.

These students went through a rigorous audition process and were chosen from high school musicians from all over Louisiana to participate in the State Music Conference this coming January in New Orleans. We are so proud of them!
