A Weekend of Victories for the Girls’ Swim Team–Evelyn Zhang is 50 Yard Freestyle Champion!

Congratulations to Evelyn Zhang for being the 2019 Red River High School Swim Conference Champion in the 50 Free! Evelyn swam a 24.83! Wish her luck as she attempts a record at the LHSAA State Swim Competition on Nov 21st! Evelyn also placed 2nd in the 100 backstroke.
In the girls’ 200 free relay, the Magnet team of Zoe Walker, Evelyn Zhang, and Sophie Wiener and Hannah Waddell placed 3rd. Sophie Wiener also placed 2nd in the 100 Free and 3rd in the 200 Free.
