ELKS STUDENT OF THE MONTH SCHOLARSHIP Each month a $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding senior boy and senior girl who demonstrate exemplary standards. Students should be well-rounded with leadership, citizenship, service, and scholarship qualities. Students will compete against other high school students in Caddo-Bossier area. MOREHEAD-CAIN SCHOLARS PROGRAM – UNC CHAPEL HILL Seniors interested in the 2014-15 Morehead-Cain Scholars Program must turn in a copy of their Resume to Mrs. Anderson by September 24th. “WE CARE” ESSAY CONTEST It is time for the 2015 Community Renewal International “We Care” essay contest for all Caddo Parish Students. How do students show others in the community they care? High school students will produce a video of a caring act or event using an iPhone, iPad, or other video recording device. The video must be less than three minutes long and be uploaded to a link provided by Community Renewal International (CRI). The video contest launches Monday, October 5, and ends Friday, October 23.
