Swimmers Take Four LHSAA State Championships! - Caddo Parish Magnet High School

Congratulations to our swim team for bringing home FOUR LHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS! Overall the Girls tied for third place out of 18 teams and the Boys placed 9th out of 22 teams (and we only had 4 boys)!

Evelyn Zhang is the state champion in the 50 free and 100 back. Sophie Wiener is the state champion in the 100 free and placed 2nd in the 200 free. Hanna Waddell placed 2nd in the 100 breast and 6th in the 200 IM. The girls placed 2nd in the 200 Free Relay, and our girls medley relay won the state championship in that event!

On the boys’ team, Nathaniel Bonts placed 3rd in the 100 back and 3rd in the 200 IM, and Jameson Feeney placed 4th in the 100 Breast and 6th in the 200 IM. In addition, the boys placed 7th in the 200 Free Relay and 9th in the Medley Relay.
