Congratulations to our 2024 Caddo Magnet Teacher of the Year, Mrs Amanda Lawrence.

Mrs Lawrence has taught in the science department at Magnet for 15 years. She serves as the science department chair and teaches Physics and Chemistry. Additionally, Mrs Lawrence sponsors multiple clubs and activities on campus, including coaching our nationally-ranked Quiz Bowl team. Mrs Lawrence is dedicated to mentoring teachers on campus both in and out of her department. Last year, Mrs Lawrence completed National Board Certification, an advanced teaching credential that certifies teachers at the highest standards in the profession. Congratulations, Mrs Lawrence, and thank you for all that you do for CMHS!
