This weekend Caddo Magnet Quiz Bowl excelled at the LQBA Fall Invitational, which was held at Magnet.

Out of 17 teams, Magnet A (Andrew Minagar, Alex Minagar, Bryce Williams-Sherman, and David Zhu) placed first and finished 9-0!

Magnet B (Lily Bodily, Elliott Kerouac, Marshall O’Callaghan, and Johnny Zheng) placed third with a 7-2 record.

Andrew Minagar was the first-place individual scorer and Johnny Zheng was the second-place individual scorer (in his first varsity-level high school tournament!)

This means that for the first time in Magnet history, we have qualified TWO teams for the High School National Championship Tournament! The two teams will compete in Atlanta in May. Way to go, Quiz Bowl!
