Congratulations to the swim teams! They placed 2nd of 11 teams in the swim meet competition on October 7th . The boys IM relay placed 3rd overall – Campbell Siskron, Andrew McDonald, Robert Brown and Thomas Siskron. The boys 400 free relay placed 1st overall – Campbell Siskron, Ian Gonzales, Thomas Siskron and Robert Brown. The girls placed 2nd overall in the 400 free relay -Ruth Bodily, Macayla Ramoz, Rafaela Demerath and Halie Morgan.
Girls lacrosse start date is October 12. Practices are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The PSAT will be given on Wednesday, October 14, during 1st through 4th periods. If you registered and paid to take the PSAT, you are to report directly to your assigned test site at 8:25 a.m. Test rosters and assigned test sites are located on the bulletin boards throughout the school, and all teachers have been given a copy. Students taking the PSAT need to bring a calculator (a scientific or graphing calculator is recommended) and two #2 pencils. Cell phones and backpacks are prohibited during testing: do not bring them to the test site. Students who are not testing will not be allowed near test sites (A wing) after 8:25 a.m. and until the end of testing is announced. Make sure to get everything you need from your locker before reporting to class at 8:25 a.m. See Mrs. Miles for additional information.
Juniors and seniors: College Night 2015 (for juniors and seniors only) will be Thursday, October 15. This is an evening you and your parents will not want to miss. We will begin in the PAC at 6:00 p.m. with a brief presentation on the college application process. You will then be able to visit with representatives from in-state and out-of-state colleges, college planning and test prep organizations, and military recruiters.
