Over 700 million people live without access to clean water. We can’t help them all, but we are doing our part! Since 2007, Caddo Magnet has paid for 9 villages to have clean water, and this will be our 10th year to raise money to dig a well. One thank you letter that was forwarded to us was from the village of Kandra, which has no electricity, drinking water, hospital, school, proper roads, or transportation. The only water source was an unclean open well. Shalu wrote us, “I am a daily wage laborer. We used to walk nearly 1 km to fetch water from an open well that was often dry. Now we don’t have to worry for water. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to the donor, Caddo Parish Magnet High School for their precious gift. We will remember them for the rest of our lives.”
