Magnet High teachers, students, and alum to be part of Annie: The Musical

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Here’s a great way to have a good time while supporting both the Shreveport and Magnet communities.

Trey and Jennifer Jackson will be starring in the Emmett Hook Center’s production of Annie the musical! Mr. Jackson has shaved his entire head to play the role of Daddy Warbucks! Yes, that’s right. Trey Jackson actually has no hair! (And Mrs. Jackson says that just hearing his solos will be worth the price of admission.)

Mrs. Jackson is playing Grace Farrell, his secretary, and their two children have roles as well (a featured orphan and Sandy the dog).

Mrs. Rene’ Todaro has two children in the show, as well (featured orphan and assistant stage manager), and current Magnet students, recent Magnet graduates, and CMHS alumni are also involved on stage and backstage.

The show opens this Friday and runs for 2 weekends. We hope you can make it!
