Magnet Equestrians Show Well in Interscholastic Equestrian Association Competitions

Ninth Graders, Rowan Davidson, Bailee Wright, Ary Ravari, and Justine Negron had successful showings in recent Interscholastic Equestrian Association competitions at Varsity and Junior Varsity levels. All of the students have qualified to advance to Regional IEA competition finals on February 16th in Tyler.

 

These students placed in many competitions, but top honors include the following:

Blue Fox Farms Competition-Houston

-Rowan Davidson:  4th place in Varsity Intermediate Flat Class

-Bailee Wright: 2nd place in Junior Varsity Walk/Trot/Canter Class

North Louisiana Equestrian Competition-Haughton

-Rowan Davidson: 3rd place in both Varsity Intermediate Over Fences and Varsity Intermediate Flat Classes

-Bailee Wright: 1st  place in Junior Varsity Walk/Trot/Canter Class

-Ary Ravari: 4th place Junior Varsity Novice over Cross Rails, 5th Place Junior Varsity Novice Flat, and 1st Place, Junior Varsity Novice Flat

-Justine Negron: Class 5 Junior Varsity Novice over Cross Rails 1st Place, Class 6 Junior Varsity Novice Flat 3rd Place

-Ava Thurmon: Class 7 Junior Novice Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter 2nd Place

Hidden Acres Equestrian Center Competition- Stonewall

-Rowan Davidson: 1st place in Varsity Intermediate Over Fences Class and 4th place in Varsity Intermediate Flat Class

-Bailee Wright: 4th place in Junior Varsity Walk/Trot/Canter Class

-Justine Negron: 3rd in Junior Varsity Novice Equitation Crossrails

-Ary Ravari: Class 5 Junior Varsity Novice Over Fences Cross rails 2nd place

-Justine Negron: Class 5 Junior Varsity Novice Over Fences Cross rails 3rd place, Class 6 Junior Varsity Novice on the Flat 3rd place

-Ava Thurmon: Class 7 Junior Varsity Beginner on the Flat Walk/Trot/Canter 1st place; Class 7 Junior Varsity Beginner on the Flat Walk/Trot/Canter 3rd place
