Caddo Magnet High School was chosen to receive the Ellen Brown Spirit of Volunteerism Award from the Volunteers of America due to the number of student hours spent tutoring others at The Lighthouse.  Many Magnet students participated in 2014, and the students with the top six number of volunteer hours were invited to attend the volunteer appreciation luncheon at East Ridge Country Club. The award is a crystal pentagon and is located in the front office.  Cameron Wallace accepted the award on behalf of all of the Magnet students and gave an excellent acceptance speech.  Click here to see The Shreveport Times article.
