Congratulations to Marcus Alonzo, Renaye Harris, Bhavya Sarda, and Arisha Sultana, who will be competing in the 2023 US Army JROTC Academic Bowl Championship this summer.

These students advanced through two phases of online competition and earned top scores out of the 1,844 Army JROTC academic teams who competed around the world. Our team is one of only 32 teams in the nation who will advance to the finals, and the only team in Louisiana!

The students were tested on core subjects such as math, science, and language arts, as well as current events, leadership skills, and more.

The team won an all-expense paid trip to the national championships which will take place in June in Washington, DC.

The students are excited to represent Magnet and spend time with their teammates as they enjoy their trip this summer. Congratulations on this accomplishment!
