Last weekend, Caddo Magnet hosted qualifying events for the Fencing Junior Olympics. Over the course of the weekend there were seven events with 34 competitors. This year, CMHS qualified 19 fencers to attend Junior Olympics in Denver, Colorado!

Qualifying fencers were Sarah Armand, Cage Carr, Connor Cook, Hugo Cuellar, James Giddens, Ethan Grinberg, Flynt Laing, Malcolm McGuirk, Jack Netherton, Mae Owczarzak, Anna Owings, Aiden Rideout, Cassandra Schnell, Nicholas Sutherland, Brian Wafer, Jr., Kain Webb, Lor Willey, and Eric Williams.

Magnet’s fencing team is coached by Mr James Sullivan. Way to go, everyone!
