Emma Dong Scores Perfect 36 on the ACT

Emma Dong is the newest member of the Caddo Magnet Perfect ACT Club!  She earned the highest possible ACT score of 36 during the June 2019 exam administration.

On average, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2018, only 3,741 out of more than 1.9 million graduates who took the ACT earned a top composite score of 36.  The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores.

Emma is the son of Dr. Yufeng Dong and Li Juan.  She will be a junior during the 2019-2020 school year.

Since the 2015-16 school year, this is the tenth perfect ACT score at Caddo Magnet High School!  Cameron Wallace, Julia Ash, David Lu, Nathan Speakes, Blaise Willis, Dakota Simpson, Srikhar Chilukuri, Grace Sun, and Sameer Tirumala are all members of this very elite group.
