Congratulations to Daniel Wright for his acceptance into NASA’s SEES High School Summer Internship Program.
Interns in this project will use NASA satellite data products and digital tools to monitor and document our changing landscape and climate. The main effort will focus on land cover change and the public health threat of mosquito vector-borne disease. As an intern, Daniel will conduct local field research and data analysis using the GLOBE Observer data collection app and online tools. “Data products and research outcomes resulting from the GLOBE Observer Earth System Explorers team will be the basis of one or more co-authored peer-reviewed research papers and posters to be presented at the 2022 American Geophysical Union meeting.” In other words, all the interns working on the team will be in a published academic work!
