Caddo Magnet High junior Soren Cate has been selected as a winner of the National Society of The Colonial Dames of America National Congressional Essay Contest. She will receive a full scholarship to the Congressional Seminar to be held in Washington, D.C. this summer. There, Soren will join other essay winners and explore the D.C area and historical sites for a week-long intensive seminar. She will also participate in a mock legislative process to promote leadership and education about the US government. Congratulations Soren!
