CMHS Rocketry Team Advances to National Finals

Congratulations to Caddo Magnet’s rocketry team! They are one of 101 teams invited to compete in the National Finals of the American Rocketry Challenge. Members of the team are students Sonya Patel, Ramya Adams, Elizabeth Shum, Connor Cook, Aiden Rideout, and Nathaniel van Bentem. 

To qualify, teams built and launched a rocket to safely carry a payload of two raw eggs, with a target flight duration of 41-44 seconds and an altitude of 835 feet.

The finalist teams are vying for $100,000 and the title of National Champion. The National Champions will receive an all-expense-paid trip to London for the International Finals.
