Congratulations to senior Cal Alexander, who competed last weekend at the International Tibor Varga Junior Violin Competition in Sion, Switzerland! Cal received 2nd prize overall, the senior jury award, and the audience award.

The Tibor Varga Junior Violin Competition is an international contest for teenage violinists that aims to enrich the musical practice of participants and provide encouragement and support for young musicians. The competition was named after Hungarian violinist, conductor, and music teacher Tibor Varga.
