The Louisiana Department of Education released the school performance scores for all public schools for the 2018-19 school year on November 6th and they may be found at https://www.louisianabelieves.com/resources/library/performance-scores.
Caddo Magnet is now ranked second in the State for 9th-12th grade high schools behind Ben Franklin with an overall SPS of 131.9, and is recognized as an A rated school.
For the fourth time in the last five school years, Caddo Magnet was designated a Top Gains school: 2014-15, 2016-17, 2017-18, and 2018-19. It is difficult to get this award, but to get it four out of five years is a true testament to the hard work put in each and every day by CMHS teachers and students.
Caddo Magnet was also designated an Equity Honoree for the second year in a row. In order to receive this honor, a school must be in the 90th percentile for student growth in one or more of the following sub categories: Economically Disadvantaged, English Learners, and/or Students with Disabilities. Caddo Magnet received the award based on the performance of economically disadvantaged students.
Great job students, parents, faculty, and staff!!
