BSA and African American Studies is seeking donations for their Spring Field Trip. Students will travel to Jackson, Mississippi’s Civil Rights Museum where they will view primary documents and artifacts from the Civil Rights Movement. They will discover stories of Mississippians like Medgar Evers, Fannie Lou Hamer and Vernon Dahmer—as well as those who traveled many miles to stand beside them, come what may, in the name of equal rights for all. They will also visit an HBCU and learn about its history and legacy.
