The 2016 LHSAA State Gymnastics Championship was filled with nothing but fun and excitement. This year we had 168 competitors from 31 schools represented at the competition\u2014the largest since 1995. Congratulations to the girls team for being the 2016 State Champions! This is the third consecutive year the girls have earned the title!<\/p>\n

Notable meet results are:<\/p>\n

Level 3 Girls (62 competitors) – Division III State Champions<\/span>
\nCassidy Cason place 1st on Beam, 5th on Bars and 4th in the all-around
\nAllison Clark placed 2nd on Bars and 7th in the all-around
\nRona Zibari placed 4th on Beam and 8th in the all-around
\nErin Brown placed 3rd on Vault
\nCaroline Canatella placed 6th on Vault<\/p>\n

Level 4 Girls (39 competitors) \u2013 Division II State Runner Up<\/span>
\nMia Cook placed 3rd on Bars
\nMorgan Graves placed 6th on Beam
\nMeghan Fry placed 2nd on Vault<\/p>\n

Level 8 Girls (32 competitors)<\/span>
\nCara Armstrong placed 4th on Vault, 4th on Beam, 4th on Floor and 4th in the all-around<\/p>\n
