Out of 456 entries, Anna&#8217;s painting is\u00a0<strong>one of five<\/strong>\u00a0selected to compete in the Senior division. The theme for this year is &#8220;Out of the Box&#8221;. \u00a0Anna&#8217;s abstract depiction of jazz musicians is titled &#8220;Encore in the Quarter&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Contest judges selected 10 finalists (5 Juniors &amp; 5 Seniors) to share $19,000 in college scholarships. Following the Scholarship Awards Luncheon (<span dir=\"ltr\">March 25th<\/span>\u00a0at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel), the winning entries will travel on public view for one year as an exhibition at museums and cultural venues across Louisiana.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Annual Scholarship Art Contest is a unique way to honor the legacy of George Rodrigue while celebrating the talent and creativity of Louisiana high school students.
