Caddo Magnet students Joseph Clary<\/strong>, Lilah Estes<\/strong>, Henry Jones<\/strong>, and Ameesha Paralikar<\/strong> earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36 during the recent October testing session.<\/p>\n

All of the students are seniors.\u00a0 Joseph’s parents are Mr. Kevin Clary and Dr. Lynn Clary.\u00a0 Lilah’s parents are Mr. Joe Estes and Mrs. Sarah Estes.\u00a0 \u00a0Henry’s parents are Mr. Daniel Jones and Mrs. Robin Jones.\u00a0 Ameesha’s parents are Mr. Amit Paralikar and Mrs. Reshma Paralikar.<\/p>\n

Fewer than half of 1 percent of students who take the ACT earn a top score. In the U.S. high school graduating class of 2019, only 4,879 out of nearly 1.8 million students who took the ACT earned a top composite score of 36.<\/p>\n

The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1\u201336. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores. The score for ACT\u2019s optional writing test is reported separately and is not included within the ACT composite score.<\/p>\n

In a letter to the student recognizing this exceptional achievement, ACT CEO Marten Roorda stated, \u201cYour achievement on the ACT is significant and rare. Your exceptional scores will provide any college or university with ample evidence of your readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n

By obtaining the perfect score, all four students become official members of the Caddo Magnet 36\u2019ers Club.\u00a0 This makes nineteen perfect scores at the school in the last five years!<\/p>\n

It is interesting to note that all four members of the current Caddo Magnet Quiz Bowl A Team have achieved this rare feat of scoring a 36 on the ACT – Lilah Estes, Henry Jones, Sameer Tirumala and Andrew Minagar.<\/p>\n
