{"id":9914,"date":"2019-06-10T10:07:03","date_gmt":"2019-06-10T15:07:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/caddomagnet.net\/?page_id=9914"},"modified":"2020-09-08T11:53:14","modified_gmt":"2020-09-08T16:53:14","slug":"community-service-documentation-form","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/caddomagnet.net\/magnet\/counselors\/community-service-documentation-form\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Participation in community service is highly encouraged at Caddo Magnet High School for our students, faculty and staff.\u00a0 Most of our clubs and organizations have a community service component.\u00a0 While students record the hours completed in order to achieve the goal of receiving the Community Service Endorsement on their high school diploma, they also understand that we give back to the community because it is the right thing to do, and not because of &#8220;what it will do for me&#8221;.\u00a0 We call it &#8220;<em>Walking the Walk&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Louisiana Department of Education changed the requirements for the hours needed in order to qualify for the Community Service Endorsement on the high school diploma.\u00a0 Students must still acquire a minimum of 80 service hours, but there is no longer a requirement for a certain number of hours to be completed for each year in high school.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/caddomagnet.net\/magnet\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Community-Service-Agreement-Form-Revised-Sept-2020.docx\">Community Service Agreement Form, Revised Sept 2020<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/caddomagnet.net\/magnet\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Community-Service-Student-Documentation-Form.pdf\">Community Service Student Documentation Form<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Participation in community service is highly encouraged at Caddo Magnet High School for our students, faculty and staff.\u00a0 Most of our clubs and organizations have&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":27,"featured_media":285,"parent":90,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_cbd_carousel_blocks":"[]","_mc_calendar":[],"footnotes":"","_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"class_list":["post-9914","page","type-page","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
