The Perry Initiative works to inspire young women to pursue interests in Orthopedic Surgery and Engineering.

The program will be held December 10, 2022 at LSU Health Shreveport. The application is due by November 10, 2022. High school students in grade 10 or higher who identify as female or nonbinary and are interested in pursuing or learning more about a career in Orthopedic Surgery or Engineering are invited to apply.

There will be hands-on mock surgical exercises and lectures from local surgeons and engineers.
