Caddo Magnet High celebrated the Louisiana Teen Reader’s Choice program with a voting party on February 26th. The school winner was One of Us is Lying by Karen McManus, with Angie Thomas’s The Hate U Give running a close second. This year, five students read all ten books and three read between five and nine (David Zhu, Charlie Brown, and Adriauna Wade). Special kudos go to senior Baleigh Picou, who has read all ten books for all four years of  high school and has gotten a strong start on next year’s titles!

The students who read all ten titles are Elizabeth Shum, Diya Desai, Baleigh Picou, Nikki Nadeiri, and Aarti Patel. They will receive special recognition by the State Librarian of Louisiana at Artbreak later this spring.
