Red Cross Club

The Red Cross Club is a service organization affiliated with the American Red Cross. We encourage a lifetime of volunteerism for the Red Cross! Membership is open during September and October, and any student not on academic probation may join. We require five Red Cross service hours during the year.Red Cross Sock Drive for SB Rescue Mission

Service opportunities:

Disaster ReliefPaint Your Heart Out (or other organizations that fix up homes for the elderly)
Habitat for HumanityCare kits (for adult and children – explanations are on the Red Cross board)
Volunteering at various places—Nursing homes Hospitals
Think First (Injury prevention organization)
Volunteering at the Red Cross office –  Call 865-9545 and tell the volunteer coordinator you can work.  We usually work on Thursdays, after school.
Salvation army–The best time to volunteer is around the holidays
Hub Ministry- Collect items for the homeless
Providence House–Volunteer or collect items
Shreveport/Bossier Rescue Mission–Volunteer or collect items
Fundraisers/ActivitiesRaise money for wells
Work at the annual pancake breakfast, sell tickets, donate food
Relay for Life
Current fundraising for disasters
