Remember: When you apply to a college, you can apply for scholarships at the various colleges. There is a difference in TOPS Scholarships and University based scholarships. Colleges may have specific scholarships applicable to you. Also: Many scholarships require letters of recommendation from your teacher, counselor or principal. When you request a letter of recommendation, please allow two weeks for this to be returned to you. Please also include a copy of your resume. See Mrs. Anderson for assistance with your resume. Elks Student of the Month

Each month a $500.00 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding senior boy and senior girl who demonstrate exemplary standards. Students should be well-rounded with leadership, citizenship, service, and scholarship qualities. Students will compete against other high school students in Caddo-Bossier area. Applications are available in the Counseling Department.

10th of each month

The Levine Scholars Program seeks exceptional high school seniors who demonstrate a commitment to community service, hold an academic record that reflects a sustained passion for knowledge and possess a capacity for ethical leadership that elevates fellow students to a higher standard. Levine Scholars receive:

● An award for four years of tuition, room, board and mandatory fees

● A grant to implement a service project of their own design

● Four summers of experiences including study abroad

● An undergraduate experience they will cherish for a lifetime
