All sports eligibility lists are now posted on the bulletin board outside Ms. Addington’s classroom C-12. Go by to see if your name is on the list. If it is not, ask Ms. Addington your status.
All sports packets for all sports were due August 25, 2017.
If you wish to participate in Soccer, you must turn in a complete packet, including medical by Thursday, October 19th by 8:30 am in order to try out. After that date and time, if there is no packet, athlete will not be allowed to participate.
There will be a Tennis parent meeting October 19th at 6:00 pm in Ms. Addington’s classroom.
Golf parent meeting will be held Tuesday, October 24th at 6:00 pm in Ms. Addington’s classroom.
The volleyball team will be taking on Northwood tonight in our gym. We need your support so come cheer the team on to victory. Next Thursday is the last volleyball game of the season. Come support the girls as they wrap up the season. Remember, students always get in free with ID.
There will be a Greens Club meeting on Friday in room E206.
Black Studies Association have T-shirts for sale for $12. Please stop by room A-4 to purchase a shirt.
The next GIFT Club activity is scheduled for Friday, October 20, from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm. On the menu: Sacher Torte (famous Viennese chocolate cake). Activities: finish buttons and paint GIFT Club banner for the upcoming Jambalaya Fest. All this to take place in C-11, Ms. Nowak’s room.
Mens’ Soccer tryouts will be October 23-25 (26 Makeup Date). Teams will be posted Friday, October 27 and a parent meeting/uniforms distribution will be that evening at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.

The JAMbalaya festival will be Saturday, October 28th from 1-4 pm here at Magnet. This is a great afternoon of fun, music, and lots of FOOD! Proceeds go to support our Back to School efforts with the Valencia community…and this year a portion will also go to our Hardin-Jefferson flood relief efforts.
