  • Support your favorite freshman and give someone the gift of savings this holiday season.  The class of 2021 is selling discount cards for $10 that will give you or your loved one access to over $100 in savings at area restaurants and businesses!  To purchase, go find your favorite freshman English teacher or ask a freshman student!”
  • Become nominated as a Carson Scholar!  Caddo Magnet can nominate ONE student to compete for the scholarship.  If you are a freshman, sophomore, or junior, have a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and are very involved with community service, submit a list of your community service activities to Mrs. Britt by MONDAY, December 18!
  • Attention Athletes:  The sports packets for the following Spring sports softball and track will be due January 10, 2018.  Eligibility to compete in Spring sports and well as to continue in the sports of Soccer (boys and girls), lacrosse, wrestling, tennis, gymnastics, golf will be determined on your semester report cards.
  • Time is running out to get your Yearbook for only $55- the price will go up in January.  See Mrs. Youngblood in E106 to order, or go to yearbookordercenter.com!  Any seniors- ad prices go up in January too, so tell your parents that all you want for Christmas is for them to tell you how proud they are of you in your very own yearbook ad.  If you need an extra form, Mrs. Youngblood has some in E106, you can download it from the Magnet website, or you can skip the form altogether by buying and designing your ad at yearbookordercenter.com.”
  • Students you may wear sweat pants, pajama pants or one piece pajamas during the semester exam days.
  • Please make sure books are renewed or turned in before leaving for the Christmas Break.  Overdue books are reported to the debt list.
  • Piano Club will be selling Christmas Carols!  You can send a personalized card with your choice of Christmas Carol played by one of our own students to a friend!  Sales starts tomorrow before school.  Make sure you know your friends homeroom teacher.
  • The concession table will be open between semester exams during break period.  Coca Cola machines will be turned on as well.
  • Student Checkout Procedures for December 20, 2017.  Students need to bring a note for early checkouts on December 20 prior to that date.  If students wish to checkout after the exam at 10:30, the notes need to be received between Monday, December 11th through Friday, December 15th.  The office staff will compile a list and begin calling to confirm with parents as soon as they receive the notes.  On December 20th, after the last exam, students will be called down to check out by ALPHABET.  If a student has not brought a note by the deadline, they will receive attention after all pre-approved students have been checked out.  Please do not send students down out of order.  Students will need to follow the schedule of names being announced and move to the designated class if their alphabet letter has not been called at the time of class changes.  This will be an unexcused checkout if students leave before 1:00 pm.
